I’ve mentioned Inks Lake State Park before, as it was one of the first places I visited with Aunt and Uncle after they moved to the Texas Hill Country.
It remains one of my favorite spots in the region, which is convenient since its only about a half hour drive from Aunt and Uncle’s house! If I ever move back to Texas, I’ll almost certainly be by here every month or two for a bit more hiking or fishing or kayaking or jumping from tall rocks into still waters. Visually, also, Inks Lake is one of my favorite of the State Parks around here.
My only serious complaint about the place: no martinis in the primitive camping area.
What kind of fascist runs this place?!
