One of my main goals for the summer was to make a trip I had promised my little sister last year: camping in Arkansas. While there were any number of camping/hiking/swimming moments, I think a favorite for both of us was hiking in Petit Jean State Park to their keystone waterfall. To finish up the hike and essentially the trip, we topped off with a rocky scramble to the cliff ledge directly behind the falls.
In retrospect, we should have just camped at Petit Jean the whole time we were in Arkansas!
She had a great time. We were talking this week about where she wants to go on vacation next year and it is camping in Arkansas.
