I’m not quite workin’ there yet, but did manage a quick tour through the White House in Washington, D.C.
I think the little sister was not amused, but the short walk through those historic halls is definitely something I’m glad that we planned ahead and did – and plan ahead you must, as applying for a tour timeslot several months in advance is a Top Tip for visiting DC.
No photos are allowed inside, of course, but you can always circle around to the South Lawn for another look and photo-op later!
All White House tours have to be booked at least three weeks in advance and ideally well before that through your Congress-person or Embassy, so make sure to plan ahead on this one!
